“We prefer travelling by ourselves and have no interest in “group tours.” The challenge for us is to connect with local residents who might expose us to the hidden charms and history of their towns and cities. We wanted to expand our experience of Spain by exploring its southern region. We were especially interested in the art and architecture, with its mélange of Moorish and Christian influences. Getting to know the local food and wines was another priority. This is where Rosa Lara and Just-Explore’s network was indispensable. So was her sense of timing and logistics. She worked up a detailed itinerary that laid out the schedule of our trip with impeccable clarity. We knew exactly where and when we were going to each destination. Her care and attention to detail afforded us too many memorable experiences.
