” We had a terrific time touring Andalucia with Rosa Lara on the Just Explore Classic Cultural Tour. We chose this escorted tour because it gave us the chance to visit the main historical sites in Granada, Córdoba, and Sevilla and spend some time in the Andalucian countryside without having to think about how we were going to get from place to place or figure out how to do everything we wanted to do. Even though the itinerary packed a lot into one week, the pace was pretty relaxed. Thanks to Rosa’s exceptional attention to detail, everything went very smoothly. She is a delight to travel with. We especially liked her walking tours that helped us get oriented when we arrived in each city. Rosa cares deeply about ensuring her clients’ comfort and satisfaction. She booked hotels for us that she has personally visited and monitored over time to be sure they deliver the level of service they promise. She also chose excellent drivers and historic tour guides who were prompt, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Rosa was born and raised in Andalucia and it was evident that she takes great pleasure in introducing visitors to the area. We enjoyed touring the olive oil mill and winery in her hometown of Montilla. We were particularly enchanted with Sevilla and would have liked to spend more time there, but then we might have missed one of the best parts of the trip – a full-day excursion to the white villages of Grazalema and Zahara de la Sierra (where we had a delicious lunch overlooking the reservoir) en route to the very cool town of Ronda, perched on steep cliffs over the El Tajo gorge. It was a wonderful way to wrap up our tour. I would enthusiastically recommend Rosa Lara to anyone planning a trip to Spain!”
