“We are now home and so grateful for our trip and the opportunity to see more of “La Madre Patria.” It was great to get reacquainted with Spain, to get to know a little bit of Portugal and to see some of the wealth of history of both countries. As you can imagine, nine days are not nearly enough time to see and do all that we would have liked to have seen and done. Nevertheless, the sampling we experienced has left us with memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. The selection of hotels was excellent, and we are very thankful that we had a chance to “get off the beaten path.” We hope to be able to go back to Spain in the not-too-distant future so we can go to the town my ancestors came from (Teruel) and also perhaps visit a little of France and Barcelona. If and when we do, we will be sure to come to you again to arrange our voyage and experiences.
