“We were very happy with our Just Explore trip to Portugal and Spain, curated by Dalia Bouzerar. She was a delight to work with through the planning process, was attentive during the three weeks we were travelling, and very professional in following up with us.
We started in Lisbon, went north with several stopovers, and ended in Portugal in Porto. Our time in Spain was spent in Seville and Madrid. In all our destinations, we had superb hotels with well chosen rooms with usually nearby access to local sites and recommended restaurants. We stayed in each place for several days, giving us time to explore and also enjoy day trips to interesting and important sites.
In every location, we were met on arrival and looked after by excellent drivers and guides. The guides were knowledgeable about each site’s history and local importance. And they took us to places we would not have discovered on our own and were special to them. They were also fun to be with; it was like travelling with friends. Dalia was remotely by our side each day, introducing us to our guides and drivers and addressing any questions or concerns immediately.
We are now enjoying pictures and happy memories of the whole trip, but also the highlights to us of Madrid, Portugal’s special towns and villages, and many fine meals and wine. We had fun on our tapas evenings and our introduction to Flamenco. All in all, a reason to return some day, with the excellent guidance of Just Explore.”
